Also, my palate of a bed is not to appeasing to say the least. We also don't have a window view.. it is covered by a huge sign.... oh and to add....... they are doing construction outside my window at 0700...... mmmmm, Lovely.
So here I lay awake at 0730 with 2 hours of sleep.
Crystal has taken her second dose of labor inducing medicine (it was a pill.... how convenient eh?), and they have given her a little pain medicine as well to help cope with the pain...... so off I go to Duncan Doughnuts for a nice cup of JOE.

Contractions have increased and the doctors have assisted to get her to 4CM.
so is she still at 1.5 cm?

ReplyDeleteYea... they said they could give her the epidural when she feels ready, but she is wanting to try and hold off as ling as she can. She is sleeping now due to the pain medicine.
ReplyDeleteLeanne....... I figure once she says she wants the epidural, she should get it within 30 minutes .... ya think?
i held off as long as i could too but at 4.5 i ordered it because i was unsure how long it would take for them to get to me and i think once you get past 7 they wont give it to you...unsure on that. they were in there within the hour after i ordered it but you never know...guess it just depends on how busy the anesthesiologist is.
ReplyDeleteDid you know that a yellow arm band and yellow socks is a indication in the hospital that the patient wearing them is impaired due to medication....... I didn't...... but she is sporting them like it's a starter jacket in 1993!
ReplyDeleteOh ok....... yea she may wait a little longer but as you were.... she does not want to wait too long in fear of not getting it.
ReplyDeletesteed wont get off work until 615 tonight...what time does visiting hours end up there? also what is the address to the hospital? if it's too late we may not make it up until tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteIt took them around 30-45 mins to get me my epidural....but yeah dont wait too long! It felt like forever though..I was like HURRY UP!
